The Lonely Position of Neutral

Hahahahahah

Yep, once again something amusing has bumbled into my world.
My sister is very arrogant. She voices her opinion on everything, and never misses out on the opportunity or however slim a chance of creating said opportunity, to put us down.
Even today, when we walked past something called ‘Progress Chinese Herbs Store’ she mumbled something along the lines of “Hahah, progress. Ahh, too bad you don’t know anything about politics.’ I just paid it no attention (you get used to it, I guess. It never even made me feel down all the time it’s happened), and turned up my iPod as the Saw theme kicked in. I love it.

But why did she mumble?
Well, she had a driving test today. Yeah, she can’t drive. She’s 20 years old, and we both started learning to drive at the same time. And after lessons and shit she’d brag to my mum with crap like ‘He says I can steer real well’ while I would have nothing to say. She booked a test for today, at 10 am.
She went to the centre at 11 with my mum.
Fail.
Seriously.
For someone of her age and self-assumed intelligence, she couldn’t even remember the damn time. I was eating a bowl of muesli and flicking through an old episode of Futurama when my mum storms through the door. I stand up with my mouth half full of mush and choke out “Hey, you’re home early.”
My mum snaps ‘Yeah. The test. 10 am.’

I had a grin wider than my face. It must have been like running into a waist-high pole.
No matter how hard you flounder about, no matter what you say to try and justify what you just did and what happened to you, in the end the world kicked you in the balls.

Bang. :D

What a faiiiiil. I love it when my siblings make mistakes that are lulz-worthy.

Wow, that must have felt really good, lol. Did you know she was late before it all happened ? Were you awake by then ? That’s so funny. I love it !

She sounds just like my coworker. I’m a business major and have taken business courses since 9th grade. I was at work and picked up The New York Times. My coworker says, “Oh that’ll just bore you. It’s about business and money and stuff” in a VERY condescending manner. She’s 27, living with her parents, still working at a grocery store as a cashier, and hasn’t gotten a teaching job since her college graduation 6 years ago. Please.

Ahaha, I bet your mom put her in her place :P I can’t imagine screwing up something just by forgetting the time… It’s like if something happened (i.e. power went out and therefore her alarm didn’t go off), then that’d be understandable… but seriously? Wow.

It’s funny when you get your own back on other siblings, just quietly laughing in the corner.

I’m 20 and I don’t drive, never learned too damn expensive to own a car and afford the assurance and lessons.
