WELL HELLO. I know this is absolutely nothing fancy, and you’re thinking “what the hell…” So you remember how I mentioned that Fire The Arrow (.com) was moving to James.Georgie.nu? Well, that’s where we are, isn’t it? :)

Obviously this is just a test post. I’ve removed the snazzy layout and chosen to stick with this classic WordPress one (just for now!) until I can come up with something simple, but that WORKS. Because we all know the two-column thing is awesome, but James didn’t like the narrow widths, so maybe I’ll have to set the width of the sections to
auto
– yeah, like you know what I’m talking about. :P

But I think the main reason I’m doing this is to test Twitter too – I had to change application settings so at the moment I’m thinking… yeah dude… yeah.

And yes, I’ll be selling Fire The Arrow.

Keep watch on georgie.nu/domains

Well, today Georgie and I went to the beach. We met up at the station, and went out to the city where we stopped by our university so she could eat the burger she didn’t want that I had unwittingly ordered. That was embarrassing, eh *sweat* We also spent some time there looking up attractions; we planned to go to the aquarium (which turned out to have a huge queue) and the Zoo, where apparently you and more people than you will ever know get a significant discount if you’re in a group of 5001 or over.
I picked up some laksa to-go, and then we went to take a ferry to the beach. Today was overcast and the weather was perfect. We walked around on the sand for a bit, and found out it was pretty boring since I couldn’t get my feet wet because I was in shoes. We ate our food (my laksa looked quite miserable by then) and then I bought a tea towel and some slippers. We stood in the water up to knee-deep and caught some waves, then we went home. All in all, it was surprisingly tiring.

One thing that annoyed me was the super scrawny Asian guy on the first ferry. He was with his girlfriend (which..sort of looked like him) and she had thicker arms than he did. Not that she was fat or anything, but you could’ve picked your teeth with his forearms. I’m not saying I’m the six million dollar man, but damn; I’d rather be walrus-fat if I had to pick one of the two. And he’d look at me every so often like I was wierd, with one slender, girly arm delicately draped over her shoulders like it couldn’t support its own weight. Yuck. Now that I mention it, there was a guy who looked just like him in uni that I knew two semesters ago, kind of. Shit, was it him? Ahh well. If he didn’t say hi, then forget him.

Another thing that disgusted me was a bunch of Korean kids that were acting like they’d never seen a fountain before. When you get off the sand, you see, there are three sets of fountains for decor and washing your feet. They washed their feet, but it wasn’t enough. They moved on until they’d washed their feet in another, and then they gawked over the last one because it shot a bit higher. What the hell.

Note to Wuggs: Don’t eat any more nougat today *floog*

I had a problem with WordPress just then. It turned out to be a new plugin I installed that was causing the problem. When I found this out, I talked to James:

me: HOH
me: FUCK YOU PLUGIN
me: FUCK YOU
James: *PLUG*
me: but i loved that plugin
me: it betrayed me :’(
me: it was poo. I liked that plugin; it put a little icon next to external links like in UTS online :)
me: :(
James: ngawweee! time to move on.
me: and fix the plugin :@
me: give it a /bash
me: and a THURST
me: FUCK
me: FAIL
me: LOL
me: -.-
me: I’m not even going to post the correct emoticon.
me: It would be humiliation by far.
James: *nods* allow me.
James: THRUSTTHRUSTTHRUST
James: Under the flopping red cocks, we can stand erect with proud, outthrust bosoms.

I was intending to be funny and use a rather sexual emoticon of a guy thrusting. Fail. -__-

There is a regular routine when a phone rings in my household.

Be it a mobile phone or a house phone or even possibly the sound of a phone ringing.

Usually my mum shouts one of the following:

“Everyone shut up, I’m going to be on the phone!”

“The phone is ringing, shut up!”

“Turn the TV down, I’m going to pick up the phone!”

“I’m going to be on the phone, be quiet!”

“Oh my god, it’s Bob, everyone shut up!”

“Is that the phone? I can’t get up, can someone pick it up?”

“GEORGIE! PICK UP THE PHONE!!!!” [That’s a cue for me.]

“That must be your boyfriend. AGAIN…”

“Can someone pick that up please…? Hello? HURRY, hello?!?!!”

Following that, depending on who picks up (usually only EVER my mum or I)…

My mum picks up the phone and says in the nicest voice ever, “Hello?”

I pick up the phone and say grumpily, “Hello.”

My mum realises that the phone was not ringing and it was the neighbours’.

My mum realises that she has picked up too late and continues saying, “Hello? Hello? Hello?”

I pick up the phone and the entire family crowds around me to hear who it is.

You’d think we never get phone calls at this rate. :|
